The company New Agri-Cal is founded in the year 1998 in Campana (CS), thanks the passion of family Filipelli that has intensely wanted to transfer the best Calabrian tradition to a new generation.

The company works in the field of the transformation and of the preservation of the local vegetables and mushrooms.
The company is situated near the old State road 108 ter, in a half way between the tableland of Sila, in particular Sila Greca, and the beautiful beach of the limpid Ionia Sea of the Cosenza’s site.

The New Agri-Cal’s main goal is to preserve the old mythologies of the Calabrian traditions using highly innovative techniques and preserving their natural taste and their characteristics. The New Agri-Cal uses in all phases of work the modern machineries respecting the laws in force and respecting the sanitary regulations. The scrupulous control of the raw materials, the continual control of the working process and the constant checking of the phases of the packing , obeying what is required by the HACCP regulations and by the certifications of the quality. The constant control of the environment, of the used plants and the laboratory analyse of the packing process make our products protected and guaranteed.

The increased interest about these products is a need to recuperate and to retain the own roots, the own traditions and the history, which risk to lose one’s way, in an equal and equal world, in the way to eat, too. The logo of the NEW AGRI-CAL sas represents the ‘Colossi di Campana’, these huge ‘sculpture’, situated circa 1000 metres. distant from our factory, are still today the objects of different interpretations among the scientists; It’s not resolved the doubt, if these rocks have been sculptured by man ( in prehistoric period) or are they the result of the natural sediment of the calcareous eruptions.
It remains the fact that the ‘Colossi’ are two big blocks, the first one easily may be attributed to an elephant, high 5 metres, and the second one is more difficult to interpret, but maybe it’s a question of the Cyclops, high 7 metres, represented only till the knees.
